Dreambelly
Dreambelly is a collaboration with the folks over at Counterpart Brewing, born from a desire to venture further into the three-dimensional realm of Triple IPAs.
At the crux of this collab you’ll find a trio of hops from a triad of countries. Together, we agreed on Simcoe as the representative hop from the US, and then each let our personal druthers guide the selection of two additional hops — one from Australia and one from New Zealand.
We went with Galaxy (AUS) and Rakau (NZ) and the resulting beer is hazy, full-bodied yet easy-drinking, and as soft as a cumulonimbus. Notes of mango fruit leather, fresh sliced pear, and classic strawberry/orange/banana smoothie.
