Grisette (Cherry)
Grisette was the first of its kind to emerge at Hafis, earning the esteemed title of our very first beer fermented entirely in oak (aka The Foeder Pyramid™). It's a low ABV, refreshing sipper dry-hopped with German Hersbrucker hops, that balances subtle brett, light acidity, and sky-high drinkability. This variation was conditioned on local Montmorency cherries from Schuyler Farms in Simcoe, Ontario.
What it smells like, what it tastes like: Aromas of bretty funk and hay with hints of cherry. Light bodied with good carbonation, clean mild acidity and a zippy lemony finish. High drinkability, refreshing and fun!
